Flourish is a family run and family friendly organisation

We started providing services with one home in Gloucestershire in 2017 and since then have grown across the South West and West Midlands, offering support in small Ofsted registered homes for children and young people with learning disabilities and associated complex needs as well as those who need a trauma informed approach.

All our homes are rated “Outstanding” or “ Good” by Ofsted

Flourish - A brief history …

  • 2016

    Flourish (Gloucestershire) Limited was incorporated

    Sam Summers joined the team as Responsible Individual and Head of Residential Children’s Services

  • 2017

    Our first EDB service opened for 4 young people in Gloucestershire

  • 2018

    We joined the South West Framework

  • 2019

    We opened our first Learning Disability Service in Gloucestershire -Ivy House

    We joined the West Midlands Framework

  • 2021

    Our first service in Herefordshire opened in May - Meadow View (LD/ASD)

    In October Jemima Taylor joined the organisation as Managing Director, followed by Victoria Sheen as Finance Director

  • 2022

    We opened two more homes in 2022 - one in Gloucestershire, Tall Firs (LD/EBD) and one in Herefordshire, Field View (LD/ASD)

  • 2023

    Our third home opened in Herefordshire - Woodland View (LD/ASD)

    We opened our first two services in Worcestershire

    Orchard House (LD/ASD) and Lakeside House (LD/ASD)

    We achieve our first Ofsted “Outstanding” at Meadow View

  • 2024

    Sam Summers promoted to Operations Director

    Hannah Palmer promoted to Operations Managers to support operational excellence

    Further services opened in the Autumn of 2024 in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire

    Kingfisher House (LD/EBD) and Heron House (LD/EBD)

    Claire Knight joined us as our new Head of People
